Restoration

Restoring Your Yachts

Why struggle much on getting a new yacht when you have an old one lying waste at home? Restoration is all you need to bring back your old yacht alive. This is similar to refit, but often refit concerns very little damages. At Nor’Sea, we carry out restoration projects at affordable prices. Often, we charge based on the size of the old yacht and the skill level required.

We perform two basic restoration services.

Full Restoration

This involves a total rebranding of your yacht and a significant change made to the interior and exterior. Upon completion, you are left smiling at your yacht, which could be mistaken for a brand new one.

We make significant changes which usually include:

Deck Replacement

The Deck is the outer part of a yacht meant for taking in the view of the sea. A replacement marks a significant departure from the old yacht.

Repainting

Painting cannot resist corrosion and therefore, is bound to fade or wear off. This does often make a restoration list of every old yacht.

Reconstruction of Structures

We also help in the reconstruction of certain structures to give it a brighter and strong outlook.

Rewiring and Engineering Repairs

There’s often a high possibility that we would detect engineering problems in a long-abandoned yacht. Hence, we provide restoration service through repair or replacement of damaged parts.

Interior Design

This plays a significant role in causing significant changes to an old yacht. This includes changing of furniture, flooring designs, wall designs and other decorative items.

Partial Restoration

This involves altering of certain parts of the yacht. In this case, not all parts are changed. Usually, it is the faulty parts that are changed only. Therefore, it is less expensive.

Factors that Should Inform your Decision

What should you consider before bringing in your old yacht?

Decide What You Want

Do you want a total rebranding or just some sort of minor changes? Ask yourself the purpose for which you’re bringing out the old boat. Certain people prefer a lingering vintage feature.

Determine Your Budget

Do you have the right financing option for a full restoration? Our financial options are very convenient.

What Purpose Are You Restoring the Old Boat?
