Making a Mock-up
A mock-up is also known as a design model. It serves as a form of plan that shows and evaluate designs made. It enhances testing.
Such mock-up is usually carried out in the shipyard. Therefore, you are opportune (as an owner) to check out the designs from time to time and modify them where and when necessary.
Fittings and Finishing
This involves arrangements of decorative items, attachment of items into designated positions and installation of various systems. It also involves painting. Finishing involves evaluating work done and readjusting it where necessary.
After all, this is done, a designer put his design to test to ensure proper fittings have been done.
